“Anvl is a great team to work with- there’s a lot of positive energy, and I love the variety of exposure you get in a startup environment.”

Tell me a little more about what you do in your role as the Head of Customer Success at Anvl.

My role at Anvl is multi-faceted. It starts with pre-sales support and then transitions into implementation of new customers and ultimately ensuring their success. When we meet a prospect, our team gains a sense of what the customer needs and how our solution can most benefit them. Once they are a customer, we work with our development team to build a custom Smart Dynamic Workflow and then roll and train frontline workers and managers on how to use Anvl to increase safety and improve operational efficiency. My main goal, though, is to ensure each customers’ success and happiness.

What inspires you about your daily work?

Anvl is a great team to work with- there’s a lot of positive energy, and I love the variety of exposure you get in a startup environment. I enjoy being able to problem solve and face challenges head-on.

What would you say is the most rewarding part of your role?

What is most rewarding about my job is being able to give back to the frontline worker and making a difference for the workforce. Also, I enjoy being able to provide customer satisfaction and demonstrate how Anvl’s Solution is so essential for each business.

What do you think sets Anvl apart? What makes Anvl unique?

One thing that sets Anvl apart is our solution is not just turning a customer’s paperwork into a digital format. Its much more than that. We perform a consulting role in a way- we figure out what problems they would like to solve and present a solution that balances out with what operations they are most accustomed to and adding valuable improvements to help them through a digital solution. It’s not a cookie cutter software- it’s very customized to the customer’s needs.

What is something people would be surprised to know about you?

I have two issued patents on navigating an electronic program guide.

What accomplishment, personal and/or professional are you most proud of?

As far as career accomplishments, I was a part of a successful IPO, which was pretty exciting!

What are your hobbies? What do you like to do in your free time?

I am a huge sports fan, mostly basketball. I love watching the Pacers! This summer in particular, my family has a goal to hike all of the Indiana state parks!

During your time at Anvl, what is the most important thing you have learned?

The most important thing I have learned is the value in communication. Anvl is a very open and transparent group, and I really like that environment. It sounds so simple, but it is very unique compared to other work environments I have experienced where things are more compartmentalized. Our team members often sync together to bounce ideas off of one other and get thoughts out on the table.

What is one thing that has surprised you about working for Anvl?

It surprised me to see how customized our solution is for the customer. That piece of our software solution was something I did not realize until becoming more familiar with the product. There has also been a more expanded view beyond safety that our company has focused on, especially in areas like quality management and operational efficiency. And being able to collect data in real time has been a piece that really amazed me. It’s not just collecting large amounts of numbers without meaning behind them- each question has the intention to provide feedback and let the customer know potential, specific areas for improvement.

Who do you look to as a role model/mentor and why?

I have a career coach that I look to. Not a mentor perse, but they have helped me work through career goals and identify my strengths and weaknesses when seeing myself into my role at Anvl, which has been helpful.
